Description
Damascus steel drop point blade. Nickel silver bolster. Inlay shield. Wood presentation box.
This Boker damascus knife was conscientiously handmade by our most experienced craftmen. The forged blade consists of more than three hundred layers (of steel and iron) and is the work of skilled damascus forger, Peter John Stienen.
Today, Mr. Stienen proudly carries on the several thousand year old skill of precision forging damascus steel.
The handle is made of Thuya wood. Thuya is golden red with shades of brown burls. It is moderately hard and heavy. Works well with tools and polishes to a fine luster. It is relatively rare and therefore expensive, but well worth the price. Imported from Algeria.
